What is energy? Energy is the ability to create change, and can take many different forms. Humans have built systems to harness, convert, transport, and store energy in various forms. Throughout all discussions of human-made energy systems, we need to consider the impacts they have on local and global environments.
Modules
Energy is a physical quantity that describes the ability to create change. Energy can not be created or destroyed. Energy simply transforms from one form to another.
This module details the waste generated from energy systems and the basic science of climate change. Furthermore, it highlights the importance of environmental and climate justice when considering the impacts of energy use.
